Summer Lunch Program
For the last two years we have partnered with our parent organization and sponsor, CitySquare, to feed hungry kids in Austin through the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) of the Texas Department of Agriculture and USDA. Last summer we piloted a mobile delivery program for lunches that we hope to return to next summer (2012). This year we are monitoring sites all over north Austin, working with Austin ISD, Texas Inter-Faith and Foundation Communities. Thousands of meals will be served to hungry kids from all over Central Texas through this important program.
